Grossinger Motors Arena opened its doors to the public in 2006. The arena has been the home for several hockey, indoor football, and basketball teams. Along with sports tenants, we also host concerts, family shows, ice shows, motors sports, and trade shows. We are also the location for local graduation ceremonies, Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals Caravans, Illinois High School Association’s regional and state tournaments, and a wide variety of meetings and wedding receptions.

The wait is finally over. The Bloomington Bison return to Grossinger Motors Arena for Opening Night on Saturday, October 17, 2026, facing off against the Kalamazoo Wings.

Opening Night will feature a Pregame Fan Fest, with doors opening at 6 PM and puck drop at 7 PM. All fans will also receive a rally towel as part of the Opening Night celebration!

Join us as we welcome the Bison back to the ice and kick off the 2026–27 season.
