Grossinger Motors Arena opened its doors to the public in 2006. The arena has been the home for several hockey, indoor football, and basketball teams. Along with sports tenants, we also host concerts, family shows, ice shows, motors sports, and trade shows. We are also the location for local graduation ceremonies, Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals Caravans, Illinois High School Association’s regional and state tournaments, and a wide variety of meetings and wedding receptions.

Roll into the new school year with Wheelz at Grossinger Motors Arena for a day of skating, music, and community fun on Saturday, August 1!

Choose from two skating sessions:

All Ages: 2:00–4:00 p.m. (Doors open at 1:30 p.m.)
Adults 21+: 7:00–9:00 p.m. (Doors open at 6:30 p.m.)

Admission is $12, with skate rentals available for $3. Guests are also welcome to bring their own roller skates.

Enjoy a live DJ, great music, and concessions available for purchase throughout the event. Free parking is available in the Grossinger Motors Arena parking garage, and guests should enter through the VIP Entrance/Circle Drive on the south side of the arena off Olive Street.

Help support local students by bringing new school supplies to donate to the Boys & Girls Club of Bloomington-Normal. Donations are encouraged and will help local children start the school year with the supplies they need.
