Grossinger Motors Arena (previously known as the U.S. Cellular Coliseum) first opened its doors to the public in 2006. The area has been the home venue for several hockey, indoor football, and basketball teams. In addition to our sports tenants, we have also hosted an array of events, including concerts, family shows, ice shows, motors sports, and trade shows. We are also the location for local graduation ceremonies, Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals Caravans, Illinois High School Association’s regional and state tournaments, and a wide variety of private meetings and wedding receptions.

Tickets on Sale for FPHL Neutral Site Games

Tickets go on sale this Friday, December 6^th,with a special deal to give fans a chance to check out the new league headed to Grossinger Motors Arena! Fans will not only have the chance to get a taste for the new league but also choose their seats for season ticket orders.

“We are encouraging everyone to come down to Grossinger Motors Arena and give us a try. With $10 tickets for every seat, we want to sell out the arena this first weekend in January” said team owner, Barry Soskin.

Last month, the Federal Prospects Hockey League, “The FED” announced a partnership with Grossinger Motors Arena that included a new hockey team headed to Bloomington, IL next season, and three neutral site regular season games in this current 2019-2020 season. The FED will bring four league-leading teams to showcase the best of the best on the ice!

The defending champions, Carolina Thunderbirds (12-1) will take on the Danbury Hat Tricks (7-4) in two games January 3^rd and 4^th. Then on March 21^st, see the Danville Dashers (7-7) take on the Port Huron Prowlers (4-6). Team officials will be in attendance to answer any questions.

Tickets for the three neutral site games at Grossinger Motors Arena will go on sale this Friday, December 6^th at 11am. Tickets can be purchased at the Subaru Box Office at Grossinger Motors Arena, or online at Ticketmaster.com. All seats are reserved and only $10 each!
